AGMP presents

THE CHAMELEONS

+ special guests: to be announced

Known for their atmospheric, guitar-based sound and passionate lyrics, the Chameleons are regarded as one of the most underrated Manchester bands of the 1980s.

Original members Mark Burgess and Reg Smithies have reformed the Chameleons and will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the classic 1983 ‘Script of the Bridge’ LP. ‘Script of the Bridge’ featured the singles ‘Up The Down Escalator, ‘Don’t Fall’, and ‘A Person Isn’t Safe Anywhere These Days’ and is quite rightly regarded as a Post-Punk masterpiece. The Chameleons are not performing the LP in full but will be mixing up classics from the band’s career along with a selection of the finest songs from the 1983 album.
