Lack Of Afro
A titan of the UK funk and soul scene for close to two decades, Lack of Afro (AKA Adam Gibbons) recently re-found his love of playing live. With a hugely successful UK tour in 2024, his first in over 5 years, Lack of Afro announced the ‘Love Dealer’ tour to coincide with a brand new LP of the same name which is released in October 2025.
The Lack of Afro live show really is something to behold. The band is made up of the same players that stormed the UK in November 2024: drums, keys/Hammond, Brass, guitar and stunning vocals from the force of nature that is Jonah Hitchens and bass, BV’s, saxophone and percussion from the head honcho, Adam Gibbons. Most are classically trained and multi-instrumentalists (which results in some dynamic on-stage swapping without ever missing a beat); the 6-piece band will take you on a journey like no other – whipping through Lack of Afro’s huge, well-loved back catalogue and showcasing exactly why both the band and the performance was the talk of the town from each and every show last year.
Plus special guest DJ Spoony.
