Hailu Mergia
Taxi driver by day, funk-fuelled keys maestro by night; the story of Hailu Mergia is one of a late justice for years spent in exile.
After being brought into the limelight by African boogie reissue label, Awesome Tapes From Africa, Hailu has been one of the most in demand Ethiopian artist on the global circuit.
Helming a trio with a badass rhythm section, he will perform his cult classic album, ‘Wede Harzer Guzo’, as well as critically acclaimed new releases such as ‘Lala Belu’.
