Winner of two Latin Grammy Awards and the Brazilian Music Award 16 times, Elba has remained, with incredible consistency, one of the greatest singers in the country for 40 years.

Elba doesn’t sing just to sing; she sings to say something: to tell stories, to remember places, to explain people, and to reveal a portrait of the most beautiful soundscapes in Brazil.

A legitimate representative of Northeastern rhythms, Elba became a singer through Chico Buarque and had the privilege of performing alongside Luiz Gonzaga, Jackson do Pandeiro, and Dominguinhos.
