An Evening with Joey McIntyre
Joey McIntyre’s community theatre career was held up when he auditioned for New Kids on the Block, when he was 12 years old. A very long story short, they went on to sell over 80 million records and continue to sell out arenas today. As a solo artist, Joey penned the Top Ten hit “Stay the Same”. TV/Film credits include Matt in “The Fantasticks”, David E. Kelly’s “Boston Public”, “The McCarthy’s” on CBS, and modern-day classic “The Heat” with Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy. Theatre credits include more than a few regional theatre productions. In NYC, he played Jonathan in the original Off-Broadway production of Tick, Tick, Boom, Fiyero opposite Idina Menzel in Wicked and most recently Dr Pomatter in Waitress the Musical Love to B, G, R and K and countless others who have been there with him all the way.
